Summary:

Kicking off our live stream week by announcing the winners of our “Go for Gold” contest, which focused on recognizing the best website designs among the submissions we received!

The contest had a good number of entries, and we selected the winners based on design, performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.

The bronze winner, Switchkey Digital, was recognized for strong page performance and accessibility, although we noted there’s room for visual improvement.

The silver winner, Jasmine Jade, stood out with a strong brand personality and excellent mobile responsiveness, especially with the use of emojis and the overall vibe of the site.

The gold winner, Amber Student, really impressed us with its user experience, design, and functionality!

Looking ahead, we’re excited about the possibility of future contests, and we even tossed around the idea of a “worst websites” contest as a way to offer constructive feedback to help improve web design.
