With just hours away from my favorite holiday I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! This time of year always fills me with gratitude for my family, friends, and community.

As we head into one of the busiest times of the year for online shopping, here are a few holiday tips to keep in mind:

Holiday Traffic Preparedness (Handling Sales)

If you’re running a special Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or other holiday promotions:

  • Create Dedicated Landing Pages: Make sure that holiday-specific offers or products have their own dedicated landing pages. This will help with SEO and provide a streamlined shopping experience.
  • Coupon and Promo Codes: If you’re offering discounts, make sure that the promo codes are working correctly and clearly displayed. Double-check that all coupons are correctly configured in your e-commerce platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
  • Cart Abandonment Strategies: Set up automated email reminders for customers who leave items in their cart.

I’m keeping it short today since I’m busy prepping pies and dishes for the big feast. But I couldn’t resist sharing a little something special with you—a Pecan Apple Latte recipe, inspired by my all-time favorite Thanksgiving dessert! Enjoy this warm, cozy drink while you prep your own holiday meals or simply take a moment to relax.

? Pecan Apple Latte Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
  • 1/2 cup steamed milk (or your favorite dairy-free option)
  • 1 tablespoon apple syrup (or homemade apple pie syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon pecan syrup (or a few crushed pecans if you prefer a more natural flavor)
  • A pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brew your espresso or coffee, and steam your milk.
  2. In a mug, combine the apple syrup and pecan syrup.
  3. Pour the espresso into the mug and mix well.
  4. Add your steamed milk and stir.
  5. Top with a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg for that perfect Thanksgiving flavor.
  6. Enjoy this warm, autumn-inspired treat!

P.S. I’d love to hear what your favorite dessert is on Thanksgiving.
