TIP: Engage with seasonal content

  • Create Relevant Content: Share fall recipes, DIY projects, or seasonal tips through blogs and videos to engage your audience.
  • Email Campaigns: Send out fall-themed newsletters featuring promotions and tips to keep your customers informed.

TIP: Check your website and make sure it is mobile ready!

  • Mobile Optimization: As people start planning for the holidays, ensure your website is mobile-friendly for easier shopping.
  • Speed and Performance: Optimize your website for speed, as increased traffic around holidays can lead to slower load times.

Full disclosure: I’m not an accountant, but as a small business owner actively involved in all aspects of our business, I recognize the importance of staying informed about new tax legislation that impacts us. I’m a DIYer so if I can wrap my head around it I will handle most report filings myself.

But if you are not a DIYer I do know a guy-Joseph Sangaline If you’re in New York and need assistance, don’t hesitate to contact Joe at Padgett Advisors. He’s a knowledgeable accountant who specializes in helping clients with their report filings.

Key Deadlines for LLC businesses – File BOIR

TIP: Go to boiefiling.fincen.gov to learn the process on how to file.

The deadline for filing a Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report depends on when the company was registered or created:

  • Before January 1, 2024: The deadline to file the initial BOI report is January 1, 2025
  • The BOIR is essential for maintaining your LLC’s good standing and ensuring compliance with state regulations. Failing to submit this report can lead to significant penalties, including fines or even the dissolution of your business entity.
