3tone Digital wrapped up an exciting project for The State University of New York, “518 College Connect” was built for college sign-ups to SUNY.
We’ve fully utilized the WordPress Block Theme editor to bring something modern, robust, and technically intriguing to the table.
Technical Deep-Dive:
We decided to go all-in with the WordPress Block Theme editor for its flexibility and native Gutenberg compatibility. This means we’ve maximized core WordPress functionalities without relying too much on third-party plugins, making the site lightweight and super fast. Custom blocks were developed to handle unique features required for college sign-ups, like dynamic forms and real-time validations. We also implemented custom post types for college programs and events, adding an extra layer of organization and ease of use for admins.
